Interesting Twist to Michigan Job

Yahoo Sports posted an article regarding the UM job today and how the timing of a possible Carr announcement effects Miles' decision of taking the job. I have heard this before, "Does Miles' leave a shot at the BCS Championship for a job at Michigan?" That is a question that only Les Miles can answer. But that is not the part of the article that I find interesting. The article talks about how Michigan, if the job is open, should search high and low and not just for "Michigan Men" for the job. This leads us to Tommy Tubberville. Personally, I think that he is a perfect fit for Michigan and would consistently beat Tressel and Ohio St, something that Carr never could accomplish. The only question is whether or not the Michigan faithful would accept him as their coach. This question would easily be answered, in my opinion, the following season when Tubby beats Tressel in the Horseshoe and leads them to their first Rose Bowl victory since 1998.

I likd this article. It talks about some of the things I was thinking about yesterday. I wasn't really thinking about whether or not Carr liked Miles, but how the timing here is everything and if you are Michigan and you want Miles and want to be fair to him, you should wait until after the national championship.
